JJ Rabbit products like the dipPlate are made from a unique bioplastic formulation with ECOPURE technology. This innovative eco-friendly material means the dipPlates are made to last and are even top rack dishwasher safe. However they are safe to dispose of in landfills as the ECOPURE reacts with enzymes and microbes in the soil to accelerate biodegradation. JJ Rabbit products are free of all the baddies that are found in traditional plastics such as BpA, Phthalate, and PVC.

Easy to Care For. Dishwasher safe.

dipPLATEs™ are fun to use, easy to clean. Simply throw them on the top rack of the dishwasher or hand wash them in baby-safe detergent and warm water. Advised to use in conditions below 85˚C / 185˚F.

Our design philosophy is modern, contemporary, and fun. First, the design must be safe and functional. Second, it must excite and inspire kids. Third, it should look great to parents too.

Safety & The Environnment

In our view, safe, sustainable, and environmentally responsible products are a basic part of doing business. It is the ante to be in business, not the differentiator. With what we know now, manufacturing products with BpA or Phalates is simply irresponsible; and it is contradictory to nourish our children while destroying their planet. We spend a lot of time thinking about, testing, and verifying safety and environmental responsibility in every step of our business.

Kai & Michael

JJ Rabbit was started by husband and wife couple, Kai and Michael, in Brooklyn, NY, and was later relocated to Austin, TX. Kai comes from the fashion world. After graduating from Parsons School of Design, she worked for some of the top design-driven companies, such as Ralph Lauren, Nike, and Comme des Garcons. With the Boston Consulting Group, Michael spent years helping the largest consumer goods companies in the world design and manufacture better products, with a particular focus on innovating products using new materials and advances in material sciences – such as the eco-plastic found in many JJ Rabbit products. Natuarally, when Kai and Michael learned they were pregnant with their first child, their design and manufacturing experience turned towards children’s products. Out of frustrations and late-night inspirations, JJ Rabbit was born.
