Production is restricted to small batches to ensure freshness and high quality standards. The small recyclable containers are sterilized before being filled and will fit perfectly into your diaper bag.

Oh-lief products do not contain any harsh chemicals, fragrances, petroleum, parabens, artificial colours or nut oils. Only the gentlest, non-irritating and raw natural ingredients are used. Oh-lief relies on nature’s simplicity as the inspiration behind their formulations.

Olive oil, which is nature’s perfect skin moisturizer, forms the base for the Oh-lief products. This oil is gentle, easily absorbed and ideal for the treatment of dry and irritated skin. It is also perfect as baby’s first moisturizer due to its low allergenic potential, and allows skin to breathe naturally. Olive oil is a powerful anti-oxidant, heals damaged and irritated skin and even enhances skin elasticity.

Natural Beeswax is a by-product which is generated by bees during the construction of their hives and has a subtle scent of honey. Beeswax is an anti-microbial and healing agent; it is also an anti-irritant and antibacterial agent. Beeswax helps to protect baby’s skin against the environment and the chemical reactions in nappies on their skin

The natural properties of lavender have a relaxing effect on babies, renew broken skin cells and calm the itching of insect bites. Ideal for a massage session after tub time!

Oh-lief believes in safe products for babies, toddlers and families. Products that are not harmful to their sensitive skin or our precious environment.

The Oh Lief Philosophy:

All formulations are consciously formulated to create a product that is ethically true to nature and as pure and gentle as baby needs. These products are not formulated to fit into the commercial standards of ‘natural’ and ‘organic’ labels that we see so often in the market place. Rather they reflect what should be used on baby and expecting mom’s skin, which should be only pure raw natural and organic ingredients.

Oh Lief products are locally made in Cape Town, keeping our carbon footprint as low as it can be. Oh Lief source all of their raw ingredients from local farmers in the Western Cape, which have a very similar ethos, therefore supporting our local community of farmers. Their products are biodegradable and not harmful to the environment.
